Eskdale, Lake District, place to stay, holiday cottage, guest house, serviced accomodation

About the Location

Situated in picturesque fell farm, our guesthouse stands as a serene sanctuary bordering over half a kilometre of private river Esk frontage, embraced by sturdy stone walls, expansive farmland, and whispering woodlands, it offers an unparalleled sense of peace and tranquility within this magnificent environment.

Accessed via a rugged track that winds its way across a charming grade 2 listed arched stone bridge known affectionately as Doctor Bridge, the journey to our guesthouse is an adventure in itself. As the track meanders past, it leads guests through a sharp turn and across a cattle grid, ensuring a sense of exclusivity and seclusion.
